Looks like Microsoft has some more good news for people wanting to get their feet wet with Commerce Server 2007: The trial version which can be downloaded free from the Microsoft web site is actually the developer version meaning no expiration dates on the trial.

Very good news which I hope will get more people onto the Commerce Server-bandwagon. Get the your trial/developer edition from Micosoft and read Ryan R. Donovan’s post Commerce Server 2007 Developer Edition Available (and it's free).
